2.1 Generation 2

Abbey hosted a party to catch up again with the friends the Smith's had missed whilst abroad. After the party, Baby headed to the book store, glad to finally purchase a classic in her home town. Abbey, meanwhile, headed to the Wolff household and demonstrated her feelings for Bobby while Cade and Dabney worked on novels in the library. Gabby stayed at home and indulged in a bath.

Baby's endurance of her duties as a Test Subject and of reading the book she had been recommended helped improve her performance at work and Max Thao requested her services as a taste test subject. She felt a rush of adrenaline through the rest of her shift and at the end of it was promoted to Lab Tech. It didn't take long for Abbey to settle back into days filled with fishing, eager to improve her skill enough to at least identify a Dragon Fish and, at school, Cade was asked to catch some fish himself, for the science facility, for the school. After school though, he was invited to Anna Alto's house and so spent the afternoon there. Gabby headed home to use the telescope and discovered a new moon, which she named Fairfax, while Dabney headed to the library, hoping to finish a book. Baby joined her twin sister at the springs, wanting to learn how to fish.

Having attempted a quick work out, Gabby had found herself standing by the telescope again, watching the funny going ons through other peoples' windows. She was so engrossed that she missed school entirely. When she finally pulled herself away, needing the toilet, she decided to head to the library and read up on how to improve her cooking. Abbey, again, headed to the springs, hoping to learn the best bait to use for Alley Catfish. After school, Cade headed home to finish his latest painting and Dabney headed to the Abrams' house with Louise. The two girls had been friends for so long now that Dabney was perfectly at home chatting with Louise's parents and eating with the family. Baby, after work, headed to the library to read "Gardening Vol. 1: The Watercan Chronicles".

Before the day had even really started, it seemed everyone was set on cleaning the house in preparation for Cade's party. Having worked on his good grades and completed his homework Cade decided that the last thing he wanted on his birthday was to go to school. Dabney also stayed at home, too engrossed in her chess practice to notice the school bus coming and going. The only one at school, Gabby earned some cash from the Mayor's office for happily making it onto the honour roll. While Abbey headed back to bed, Cade joined Dabney playing chess until she realised what time it was, he then painted in the master bedroom. While Baby played chess with Clinton, it was obvious that Cade's birthday was another verging upon epic party, hosted by the Smiths.

Cade Smith
Lifetime wish: Illustrious author.
Traits: Artistic, couch potato, family-orientated, loser, no sense of humour.
Favourites: Classical, French toast, spiceberry.

Cade's first move as an adult was to hire a maid, wanting no distractions from his lifetime wish. Abbey invited Aron and Bobby around. She wanted to learn more about Bobby but ended up talking more about herself before giving in and using the telescope. At school Gabby was asked to find herself a job because the work/study program didn't have the time. Feeling that if the program wouldn't deign to do its job for her then why should she do their job for them, Gabby declined the "opportunity". After school Corrie Bachelor joined her heading home and Gabby chatted with her about how paying attention in Geography would help her with her plans of world domination, before she headed to the treadmill. Baby earned a promotion to Useless Contraption Manipulator and headed home to start an allotment. Dabney, overworked from school, headed to the library and read "A Magnetic Attraction" to unwind.

That morning Abbey and Baby discussed the household. It had been a long time since Mum had passed and, as the eldest, they had tried to take care of everyone but they wondered who, if any of them, would take charge of the household. Abbey headed for a change of fishing scenery, to Recurve Strand, and Cade started work on his first science-fiction novel. After school, Dabney headed to the library to read up on logic while Gabby headed home in wait for Baby. Baby returned home to tend her garden and finish the paining she had started before Gabby challenged her to a chess match. Both were each other's next ranked opponent. It was a long match before Baby put her chair away, victorious, while Gabby pushed the pieces off the board in frustration.

One of the showers broke on Dabney in the morning, she snuck away to the living room to do her homework. Everyone caught up with friends during Abbey's weekend party and it was a real success. Having completed "The Holmberg-Weidler Effect", Cade spent the afternoon painting. Abbey went fishing and caught her first Jellyfish before work, and Baby fixed the broken shower, only for the dishwasher to break on Gabby. The two girls sat down for another chess match, Gabby determined to defeat her sister and so while Baby applauded Gabby's success in the match, she had lost to a ranked opponent. Dabney, meanwhile, continued work on "Grunenwald: Origins of a Nightmare".

Current score: 4
