This time when Emily invited Lane over he agreed first time and she started to make her moves.
Emily was back at work the following day and her morning work out pushed her to the athletic level required to collect some cash from the stadium. She headed straight there after work. Secretly in hunt of an easel to paint on, Emily visited Christopher Steel and was delighted to find he had one without a canvas. Emily asked to stay over but unfortunately she couldn't use the easel, perhaps out of guilt, still it was nice to hang out with a friend for the evening.
While at work Emily was offered a couple of opportunities. The first was to jog for an hour at the challenge of one of the gym managers, the second was to patrol the neighbourhood, meeting new sims, easy to combine the two. When the day was over she was promoted to patrol officer, a promotion she took seriously. Fed up of having an unfulfilled want, Emily bought her own easel with the bonus money.
The following day Emily prepared to collect her reward for both opportunities set her, she then headed to the gym and introduced herself to Thornton Wolff. She then introduced him to the weights machine. Vita Alto could have benefited from having Emily by her side. After the hard work Emily and Thornton shared a drink in the kitchen downstairs.
Work was eventful, a recently apprehended criminal broke free of her handcuffs and made a run for it but Emily tackled the perp before she got away. Emily was promoted to lieutenant and given a police cruiser. With her earnings she finished the first room of her home and actually wanted to head back there after work.
Lacking inspiration the following day Emily headed to Central Park to make some new acquaintances.
Emily was rather shocked to see Claire Ursine has stolen her style but with the coming of the weekend came a party to be had and the opportunity to earn the "Pumped" feeling. Emily hung out with Lane at the party and quickly found herself wanting to woohoo with him, she needed the finances for a double bed. Once the party was over, Emily headed to Papyrus Memorial Library to write a basic report on Fiona McIrish in hopes of speeding up her next promotion, then it was back home for a touch of painting.

ReplyDeleteI find it a lot easier keeping track of one sim than many, unfortunately, that's not in Emily's plans. Hopefully I can still get a good balance between the detail and keeping an eye on everyone else who may turn up.
